Saudha Marche Supermarket

We are located at 66/1 on Thirunallar Road in Karaikal. People sometimes know the old number, 88/1, better. We’re right near Muthupillai Bakery, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Saudha Marche Supermarket is where we spend all our time. Calling it a supermarket might make it sound bigger than it feels sometimes, but we do carry a lot of different items. We try to keep the aisles clear, but with all the stock coming in, it can get a bit tight. It's a busy place, especially on weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. We have a few staff members who help out with the registers and the stocking. We aren't a big chain with a huge budget. We’re just a local business trying to serve the Karaikal Ho area. The floor needs a good scrub every evening because of all the foot traffic. We don't have any flashy advertisements or loyalty cards. People come back because they know we have what they need at a fair price. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage, but we stay open. It’s hard work keeping everything running, but we’ve been doing it for a while now. If you’re passing by the bakery, you’ll see our entrance. It’s just a regular place for regular shopping. The heat in Karaikal can be quite something in the summer, so we have big industrial fans that hum all day.
