Saravanan Masala

Saravanan Masala is located at 4/15 in Gandhi Nagar. It’s right there in Chithiraichavadi, which is a place most people around here know well. We spend most of our days working with the different spices and getting them ready for people to use. The air inside always smells like cumin and turmeric, which is nice but it gets into your clothes after a while. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. We just have our small space where we get things done. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat while we are working. The street can get a little crowded when the deliveries come in, but we try to keep things organized so nobody gets blocked in. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now and we know the area like the back of our hand. It gets pretty hot in Gandhi Nagar during the summer months, so we usually keep the fans running all day long just to stay sane. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the door where we do our business. Most people find us by word of mouth anyway. We just focus on getting the grinding done and making sure the bags are tied up right. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There are always chores to do around the shop to keep things moving.
