Adhavan Diabetes Foundation India Pvt. Ltd. is located over on Villianur Main Road. We use the units at No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 in Sivagami Nagar. It’s a decent amount of space because we need several rooms for all the things we do. We focus on diabetes care and sharing information with people who need it. The road outside is always very busy with cars and bikes, so there is a lot of noise throughout the day. Inside, we try to keep things organized so we can help everyone who comes in. We have different sections for different tasks like keeping records or talking to visitors. Some days are quite hectic when a lot of people stop by to ask for advice on their health. We aren't a big, fancy hospital or anything, just a foundation trying to do some practical work here in the community. The building is a simple structure and it’s pretty easy to spot from the main road. We’ve been here in Sivagami Nagar for a few years and the staff are mostly local folks. We don’t have a budget for advertising, so we just rely on people finding us by word of mouth or seeing our sign. It’s a basic setup with simple furniture and a waiting area that sometimes gets a bit full. We just do what we can with the space we have and keep our doors open for anyone.
