Pims Hospital

Pims Hospital is located at No. 18 on the Ecr Road in Pillai Chavady. It’s a large building that stays busy twenty-four hours a day. I work in the administrative section, but you can see everything that goes on from here. There is always someone coming through the doors, whether it’s for a quick check-up or something more serious. The corridors are long and have that specific hospital smell of disinfectant. We have a lot of different departments, from the emergency room to the regular wards. It can be quite stressful when things get crowded, especially on weekends when there are more accidents on the Ecr Road. The staff here is always on the move. We have doctors and nurses rushing around, and the cleaning crews are constantly trying to keep the floors spotless. There’s a cafeteria where people wait, and it’s usually full of families looking tired. We have a big parking lot, but it still manages to fill up by midday. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s organized in its own way. We deal with a lot of paperwork and insurance forms, which can be a real headache. Every day is different here. Some days are calm and others are just a blur of activity. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible for the patients who come to Pillai Chavady. The night shift can be particularly long and quiet until it's not.
