Oceanic Communication

We've been at No. 1, Villanur Main Road in Murugampakkam for a while now. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. Most days start with us opening up the shutters and seeing who comes in with phone troubles or questions about their internet connections. People usually just call us Oceanic Communication. We handle a bit of everything when it comes to keeping folks connected. Sometimes the heat on the road is too much, so it's nice to step inside the shop for a bit. We deal with sim cards, signal issues, and some of the newer gadgets too. It isn’t a fancy place with bright lights and huge displays, just a regular shop where we get things done. Most of us here grew up nearby, so we know the faces that walk through the door. If someone's phone screen is cracked or their data plan isn't working right, they bring it over. We spend a lot of time on the phone ourselves, talking to providers or trying to track down parts. The traffic on Villanur Main Road can be a bit loud in the afternoons, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just try to stay busy and make sure people can actually talk to their families or do their work without the technology getting in the way. It’s simple work, really. Just helping neighbors stay in touch.
