Unique Handmade Products

We have been working out of No2 Perumal Kovil Street for a while now. Alankuppam is a quiet spot, but we stay busy here at Unique Handmade Products. Most days start early before it gets too hot. You can find us near Oruvil if you know the way. There is always a lot of dust and scrap lying around because that is just how it goes when you make things by hand. Our hands are usually dirty by noon. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some benches and the tools we need to get through the orders. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat while we are working. It gets noisy with the hammers and saws but nobody seems to mind much. We just focus on the task in front of us. Some pieces take a long time to finish and others are done quickly. It depends on the material we have that week. There is no big secret to what we do. We just show up and put the pieces together. The street outside is narrow so deliveries can be a bit of a pain sometimes. You have to watch out for the cows and the bikes passing by. We have lived around here for years so we know everyone. It is just a small shop trying to keep up with the work. We don't spend money on ads. People just find us or hear about us from someone else in the village.
