Muruganantham Baby Corn

We are located at 21, Santhavasal, along the A K Padavedu Road. This is where we handle everything for Muruganantham Baby Corn. It’s a rural area, very much centered around the fields. Our place is basically a shed and a small office area where we bring the corn after it’s picked. It’s very green around here, which is nice. We don't have a lot of staff, mostly just family and some local help when it’s harvest time. The A K Padavedu Road is usually quiet except for the tractors and the occasional bus. We spend most of our time out in the heat, making sure the baby corn is sorted and packed before it gets too warm. It’s a lot of physical labor. We don't have a fancy logo or a marketing team. We just sell what we grow and try to get a fair price for it. Sometimes the crop is great and sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle with the water or the pests, but that's farming for you. We’ve lived in Santhavasal for a long time, so everyone knows us and what we do. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us covered in dirt or busy with the crates. It’s a simple business, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep at it day after day. Most nights we are exhausted but it’s good to see the trucks leaving with fresh produce. We don’t need much else, just a steady season and regular work.
