Maruthi Stores

Maruthi Stores is located right at number 1 on Nagathamman Kovil Street in Lawspet. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, except when there are festivals at the temple nearby. We have been here for a while now, just running the store and seeing the same faces every day. The shop isn't very large, but we fit what we can inside. Being on the corner of the street makes it easy for people to find us when they are walking home. We open up pretty early in the morning to get everything ready before the sun gets too high. Lawspet is a nice area to be in, and the people around here are mostly friendly neighbors. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays, just the usual stuff you'd expect to find in a local place like ours. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move things away from the door quickly. It's just a small family-run kind of thing. We spend a lot of time just chatting with customers about the weather or local news while we pack up their items. It’s not a complicated business. We just try to keep things honest and stay busy. The shelves are always a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. That's just how we like to run things here on Nagathamman Kovil Street. We hope to stay here for many more years.
