Manatec

Our place, Manatec, is situated in the Thattanchavady Industrial Estate, specifically at units C- 22 and 23. It’s a decent-sized space where we handle all sorts of technical and engineering jobs. The estate itself is usually buzzing with activity, and we are right in the thick of it. We have a lot of different machines squeezed into our units, and sometimes it feels a bit crowded when we have a big project going on. We don't really have a front office staff; usually, whoever is closest to the door greets you. Our clothes usually have a few stains from grease or paint, but that’s just part of the job. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and trying to figure out why a particular part isn't fitting right. It involves a lot of trial and error sometimes. We’ve been at this address for quite a while, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change around us. The regulars know us and know they can just drop by to talk about a job. We don't go in for big speeches about what we do. We just listen to what’s needed and see if we can build it or fix it. It’s a practical life, and we like the feeling of finishing a long day and locking up the shutters, knowing we got something done. It’s just us, the machines, and the daily grind of the industrial estate.
