Our place is located at Flat No.- 2/3, 91/5 on the Link Road. It is tucked away in the Sonia Gandhi Nagar Extension, which is quite close to the Mettupalayam Industrial Estate. Being near the industrial hub means there is always a lot of activity, trucks moving, and people going to work in the factories. Our office is inside a residential-style block, so it feels a bit different than a big corporate building. We have been working from here for several years. The rooms are filled with desks, boxes, and a lot of documents related to our formulations. It gets a bit noisy during the day because of the traffic on the Link Road, but we are used to it by now. We usually have lunch together in the small kitchen area. The neighborhood has grown a lot since we first moved in. There are more shops now and the roads are busier. We spend most of our time dealing with suppliers and checking our stocks. It is not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We know the security guards and the delivery guys who come by every afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the backup generator. It is just a regular office where we try to get our work finished on time without making too much of a fuss about things.
