Sedarapet is where you will find us, specifically at number 16. It is an industrial area, so it’s not really the place for a casual stroll. There is a lot of dust and the sound of machinery is pretty much everywhere you go. Our place is focused on rubber linings, so there is always that specific smell in the air—it’s kind of heavy and stays with you. We have a lot of big equipment and the floor is usually marked up from moving heavy things around. It’s not a fancy office with carpets; it’s a working shed where things actually get made and handled. The guys here wear sturdy boots because you never know what you might step on. We have a small area where we keep the records, but most of the action happens out on the floor. At Lebracs Rubber Linings Pvt. Ltd., we don't spend much time worrying about how things look as long as they are working right. We have our tea breaks standing up mostly, talking about what needs to be finished by the end of the shift. The sun beats down on the roof and it can get pretty warm inside, but we just keep moving. When the day is over, we wash up and head out, leaving the machines quiet for a few hours. It’s hard work and it’s messy, but it’s what we do here in Sedarapet every day. It's just honest labor in a busy industrial zone.
