Hungers Delite

Hungers Delite is situated at No 115 on Villiyanur Main Road. We are in the Villianur area of Pondicherry, right near Padmavathi Hospital. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by all day long. Some are heading to the hospital, and others are just commuting. The shop is a straightforward setup. We have the kitchen in the back and a small area for customers in the front. It gets quite warm here in Pondy, so we keep the fans going as much as we can, though it’s still hot near the stove. We aren't some big chain or a fancy cafe. It’s just a local spot where we make food every day. The road outside is usually noisy with scooters and buses, but you get used to the sound after a while. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s a lot of long hours, standing on our feet and making sure everything is prepped. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to adjust, but that’s part of the job. Most of our customers are locals who live around Villianur or people working at the hospital nearby. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or big advertisements. We just leave the door open and let people come in when they’re hungry. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place.
