Hides

Out here in Odiampet Village, things move at a slightly different pace than in the big city. Our place, Hides, is located at No.244/1, near the Villianur Post. It’s a quiet area for the most part. We spend our days working with materials, checking the quality of what comes in, and making sure it is ready for whatever it needs to be used for next. It’s dusty work sometimes, and your hands definitely get dirty. We’ve been at this for a while now. The building isn’t anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can spread things out and see what we are doing. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment arrives and everything needs to be sorted through. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just a few of us who know the materials well. We keep the doors open to let the air in when it gets hot. People in the village know where we are if they need anything. We don’t try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We handle hides, we process them, and we send them out. That is really the whole story of what happens here at our spot in Villianur. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. It is not always easy, but we have a good system going.
