French Hospital

French Hospital is situated right in Karaikal Town and we are very close to the Government Hospital here. It is a bit of an old spot in a town that has a lot of history. People often use the Government Hospital as a landmark to find us. We have been part of Karaikal Town for a long time and the building itself has a lot of character. It is not one of those glass and steel modern buildings you see in the big cities. We have high ceilings and thick walls that keep things a bit cooler in the heat. Daily life here involves a lot of regular check-ups and helping people with their everyday health problems. The pace can be slow one minute and then very fast the next when a lot of patients arrive at once. We know the local shops and the people who walk past our doors every morning. Our staff mostly speaks the local language and we keep things simple and direct. There is no corporate office telling us what to do, we just run the place as best as we can. Sometimes the paint is peeling a little in the corners and the furniture is a bit dated but it is comfortable for the folks who come in. We are just a local hospital in Karaikal Town doing our part alongside the other medical places in the area. We have been here through many seasons and we just continue on with our daily work.
