Running a business on Air Port Main Road means you get used to the sound of planes taking off pretty quickly. Our place is at 83/1A, and it’s a fairly straightforward setup for what we do. Annihmath Trading And Contracting is basically just a group of us trying to keep up with all the trading and contracting work that comes our way. The office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine; it's got some old wooden desks and a lot of binders stacked up against the walls. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and going over the schedules for the different sites we're managing. The road outside is always moving, and sometimes it takes forever just to pull out of the driveway because of the airport traffic. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, we just stand around the main table and figure things out. It gets pretty dusty inside since the door stays open a lot for people coming in and out with deliveries or paperwork. Most of the staff has been here since the beginning, so we don't really have to explain much to each other anymore. We just know the routine. By the time the sun starts going down, we’re usually finishing up the last of the logs. It's a plain, honest way to make a living, and being right here on the main road makes things easy for our suppliers to find us.
