Over in Balaji Nagar, specifically at 15/440, you’ll find Chandra Earth Movers. We are quite close to the Meseva office, so there’s always people walking by or waiting around. It’s a good landmark to tell people when they are trying to find us. Our work is all about the big machines and moving soil. We keep the equipment parked in the lot, and it’s usually covered in a bit of mud from the last job we did. Balaji Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. The day usually starts with the sound of engines turning over, which I’m sure the people at Meseva can hear. We don’t have a fancy front office with air conditioning; we just have a small space where we keep our keys and some logbooks. Most of our work is done under the sun, digging foundations or leveling out patches of land for new buildings. It’s dusty work and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just have the machines and we know how to use them to move earth. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work, but we just wait for it to clear and get back to it. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the jobs done and keep the engines running smooth.
