Yash Fashion

Yash Fashion is located in Shuturkhana, right in the Teliyarganj area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends. I started this place because I wanted something of my own. It's a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. There are racks of clothes everywhere you look. I try to keep things neat, but when it’s busy, things end up all over the place. I usually open up around ten in the morning after having tea nearby. The light inside isn't the brightest, but you can see the colors well enough. People from the nearby houses walk over when they need something new to wear. We don't do anything fancy with the decor, just some shelves and a mirror. It gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit by the door for some air. It’s just a normal shop for normal people. I don't use a computer for anything, I just write everything down in a notebook I keep under the counter. Teliyarganj is a busy place, and we're just one small part of it. We keep the shutters half-down when the sun is too strong in the afternoon. It’s a quiet life most of the time, just helping people find what they need.
