Vatsalya Hospital

Our hospital, Vatsalya Hospital, is located at No. 6/ 8 Elgin Road, which is also called Lal Bhadur Shastri Marg by many locals. We are right in the Civil Lines area, situated directly in front of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, which makes us pretty easy to find if you’re coming from that direction. Being in Civil Lines means we see a lot of activity every single day. The hospital handles a lot of different cases since we are set up as a multi-disciplinary place. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes because of all the different sections we have for various health problems, but we manage to keep things moving. The front desk stays fairly busy with people checking in. We don't really go for that polished corporate look you see in some of the newer buildings; we’re more about just having the space and the tools ready for when people need them. The street outside is usually full of cars and rickshaws, especially during peak hours. If you’re visiting, you’ll notice we are right in the middle of everything. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for some time now, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. Our team consists of various specialists who spend their shifts walking the corridors. It’s a straightforward medical facility where the main goal is just to help the patients who walk through that front entrance on Lal Bhadur Shastri Marg. We just focus on the daily medical work.
