Vandana Womens Hospital

Vandana Womens Hospital is over at 50/26-C on Stratchey Road. It’s right in the Civil Lines area, which most people around here know well. We have been in this building for a while, and it has a certain character to it. It’s not one of those new, glass-fronted places you see popping up. Inside, things are kept simple. We see a lot of women coming through for various reasons, sometimes with their families trailing behind. The waiting area can get a little noisy when there are kids around, but that’s just how it goes. Our staff has been working together for a long time, so we all know how the day flows. We start early, checking the rooms and making sure everything is where it should be. Stratchey Road can get busy with cars and rickshaws, so it’s sometimes a bit of a squeeze to park right out front. People usually just find a spot nearby and walk over. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or complicated stuff. We just open the doors and help whoever needs it that day. It’s a practical place for the local community. We know most of the shops nearby and the people who walk past every day. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. We are just here doing the work that needs doing, day in and day out, in our corner of Civil Lines.
