About The Leprosy Mission Hospital Naini – Medical & Healthcare in Prayagraj
If you walk down the Naini Railway Station Road, you will eventually come across the Leprosy Mission Hospital Naini. Being so close to the station means there is always the sound of trains in the distance, which becomes something you don’t even notice after a few days of working here. The road outside is usually dusty and full of people moving back and forth from the trains. Our building is a bit of an escape from that noise. It’s a sturdy old place with high ceilings that keep it relatively cool even when the sun is out. We don’t have much in the way of modern office furniture; most of our desks and chairs have been here as long as the staff has. It’s a very hands-on environment. We spend a lot of our time in the wards or the clinic rooms. There isn't a lot of talk about strategy or big goals; we just look at who is in front of us and see what they need. The files are all stacked in old wooden cabinets, and the floors are scrubbed every morning before the sun gets too high. It’s a simple life here on the station road. We know the local vendors who sell snacks outside and the rickshaw drivers who bring people to our gates. It’s just a regular part of the Naini landscape, doing the same work we’ve done for many years.
