Sri Ram Stores

Sri Ram Stores is located right on Purana Katra Road in the Old Katra area of Allahabad. It gets pretty crowded around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the shop is just a regular place where you can find your daily groceries. We stock things like rice, dal, flour, and the small items you always seem to run out of in the kitchen. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors who have been living in this part of Allahabad for years. We don't have any fancy displays or big neon signs, just the usual shelves filled with bags and jars. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow for fresh stock. It is a lot of standing around and talking to customers while we weigh out the goods. The traffic outside can be a real headache, but we keep the shutters open from early morning until late at night. My family has handled the accounts here for a while now, and we just try to keep things simple. We don't really do any advertising because word of mouth in Old Katra is enough to keep us busy. You might have to wait a few minutes if there is a rush, but we try to move as fast as we can. It’s just a practical shop for the local community.
