Shyam General Store

Shyam General Store has its home at 41D Motilal Nehru Road. We are right on the Prayag Station Road in Allahabad, 211002. Being so close to Prayag Station means we see a lot of people coming and going all the time. Travelers pop in for a bottle of water or some biscuits for their journey, and the locals come by for their regular groceries. It’s a busy little corner. We have been here for a good while, and the shop has seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The building is older, but it serves us well. Inside, it’s just rows of items stacked up to the ceiling. We try to keep everything organized, but with so many small things, it can be a challenge. We don't have any staff in suits or polished counters. It's just a regular counter where we handle the cash and chat with the neighbors. Allahabad is a city with a lot of history, and we feel like just another small piece of it. We don't use any fancy management software; we mostly just remember what’s in stock. If we run out of something, we get it back as soon as the distributor comes by. It is a simple life running a shop near the station. People are usually in a hurry, so we try to be quick. That’s basically all there is to Shyam General Store at 41D.
