We’ve been here at Sharda Bhavan on Zero Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, number 108 to be exact. If you’re walking down Zero Road, you’ll see our sign. It isn’t anything fancy. Mostly, it’s just us inside handling the clothes and making sure things are where they belong on the shelves. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. We open the doors early and stay until the sun goes down. There’s always a lot of dust from the street, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass. Inside, it’s just racks of different styles. We don’t really do those big flashy displays you see in the malls. It’s more about having stuff people actually want to wear every day. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy, but usually, it’s just a couple of us. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. The tea stall nearby brings us chai twice a day, which helps keep us going. If you come by, you might find us folding a new shipment or just sitting by the counter. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep things organized, though some days the piles of fabric seem to grow on their own. It’s just how a small shop works, I suppose. Nothing too complicated, just Shubham Fashions doing what we do every day on this corner. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go on Zero Road, but we're still here, just plugging away at the same old tasks.
