Shruti Clinic

Shruti Clinic sits at No. 16 on Shivaji Marg in the Rajrooppur area. It’s a familiar spot for the locals who have lived here for years. The building is older, and the street outside stays busy with people going about their business. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really need a big sign, though we have one. It’s a small place, mostly just a desk and a couple of chairs for the patients. We handle a lot of common illnesses, like when the kids get a fever or someone needs their blood pressure checked. It’s the kind of work that doesn’t change much from year to year. The room can get a bit stuffy in the summer, but we keep the fan going. There’s a lot of paperwork involved, mostly just writing out notes in files that we keep in the metal cabinet. Sometimes the door sticks a bit if the weather is damp. We don't have a receptionist, so you might have to wait a minute if we are busy with someone else in the back. It’s a honest way to spend the day, helping out the neighbors and making sure people are doing okay. The address is easy to find once you are on Shivaji Marg. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in our own way.
