Shreya Genral Store

Shreya Genral Store is located in George Town, Allahabad. This is a bit of a different area compared to the main city markets. It is a bit quieter here, which I like. I opened the shop because there weren't many places nearby where you could get all the small things in one go. We carry school supplies, some cosmetics, and general household items. I named the store after my daughter. Usually, it is just me running the place, but sometimes my nephew comes over to help out during the evenings. The morning time is mostly quiet, so I use that time to clean the glass cases and rearrange the items. In the afternoon, the students from the nearby schools come in for pens or snacks, and that is when it gets lively. I like talking to the people who live in George Town because they are mostly regular neighbors. I don't try to be a big businessman; I just want to provide what people need. The shop is quite clean, though I struggle to keep the mosquitoes away in the rainy season. I have a small radio that plays old songs while I work. It’s a peaceful way to earn a living without too much stress. We don't have any big plans to expand, we just want to stay here and keep going as we are. It is a good little shop for the neighborhood.
