Allahabad. Rajroopur 900/178B/2B. 211011. This is where we are. It’s a residential sort of area, so it’s pretty calm most of the time. We have a small office space here. It’s nothing like those big offices you see in the city center. We have some old filing cabinets and a few computers that have seen better days. But they work fine for what we need. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who stop by. Sometimes the neighbors come in for a chat. We know most of the people on this street. It’s a good community. The street gets a bit dusty in the summer and the rains make it muddy, but that’s just Allahabad for you. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you knock, one of us just gets up and opens the door. Usually, there is some tea going on the stove. We try to keep things simple. No one here is trying to be a boss. We just work together on whatever needs doing. Sometimes we stay late and order some snacks from the shop around the corner. It’s a basic setup but it’s ours. We’ve been in this building for a while and we don’t plan on moving anytime soon. It’s home for us during the work week. We just handle the paperwork and the phone calls as they come in, keeping things moving along as best as we can.
