Sevak Foundation

Sevak Foundation is located out in Mungus, which is part of the Tindwari block. It’s a rural area, so things move a bit slower out here than they do in the big cities. Our office is at number 261, and it’s a very simple place. We don't have air conditioning or fancy furniture, just some sturdy chairs and a big wooden table where we do all our work. Most of our days are spent out in the fields or talking to people in the village. We started this because we saw that people needed a bit of support with everyday things. We aren't some big-shot foundation from Delhi. We live here, we work here, and we know the struggles people face because we face them too. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to finish our work by candlelight, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a marketing team or a website that looks like a million bucks. We just have our hands and our time. People know where to find us if they need anything. We just try to be useful and keep our promises. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but it’s what we chose to do and we’re sticking with it. We hope to stay here for a long time and just keep helping out our neighbors in the block as best as we can.
