Sapna Hospital

Sapna Hospital is located at 46 B in the Panjabi Colony area of Naini. It is a decent-sized building, not a massive tower but big enough to have several beds for patients who need to stay overnight. I have been part of the staff here for some years now. Panjabi Colony is a residential spot, so it is usually not too loud, which is good for the people inside trying to rest. We have a small entrance where people come in to register their names. The hallways are a bit narrow, and the paint is peeling in a few corners, but we keep the rooms clean and ready for anyone. Naini can get quite hot in the summer, so we have fans going all the time to keep people cool. Working in a hospital means things are always happening at all hours. There is the smell of cleaning fluids and medicine everywhere you go. We have a few doctors who come in and out during their daily shifts. Families often sit in the small courtyard outside while they wait for news about their relatives. I see them talking and drinking tea from the small stall down the street. We do not have a fancy reception desk with computers; it is mostly just big logbooks and pens. It feels more personal that way. Residents of Panjabi Colony often walk here because it is just around the corner for them. We try to keep things running smooth.
