Santsu Foundation

We are based out of Korrai village in the Kaushambi district. You can find us at Suryabhan Singh Yadav’s place. It’s a quiet spot near Sirathu. We aren't a big city organization with a bunch of interns. It is just a few of us who care about what happens in our local community. Living in a village like Korrai means you see everyone’s problems every day. You can't just ignore them. We started Santsu Foundation to help out where we can. Sometimes it is helping someone with paperwork or organizing a small event for the kids. We don't have a massive budget. We just use what we have and try to make it stretch. The post office is in Korro and that is where we get our mail. It is a simple life here. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just talk over tea and decide what needs to be done next. The roads around here can be rough in the monsoon but we still manage to get around. We are proud to be from Uttar Pradesh and specifically from this part of Kaushambi. It is our home. We want to see our neighbors doing better. That is the whole reason we are doing this. It isn't for fame. It is just about being good people and helping the folks around us.
