Sachdeva General Store

We've been here on Zero Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of Johnstonganj, and things are always moving around here in Allahabad. We mostly keep the basic things people need every day. If you live around here, you probably know the spot. The shop isn't fancy or anything, just shelves full of items and a counter that’s seen a lot of use over the years. Some days it gets really crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home and remembers they forgot something for the kitchen. We try to keep things organized, but in a small space, it can get a bit cluttered. That’s just how it goes. My family has been involved in this for a while. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s nice seeing the same faces. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us because we are right here on the main path. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can’t hear what a customer is asking for, but we manage. We stock soaps, pulses, snacks, and whatever else is usually on a grocery list. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until we pull the shutters down at night. Nothing more to it than that really. Just a local shop doing its thing in a loud, busy city.
