Raj Clinic

If you are in Jhunsi, you probably know where the Shiv Mandir is in Haweliya. We are located right near that temple. It’s a quiet enough part of Allahabad, though the temple bells and the morning prayers make it feel very alive. The clinic isn't very big. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. It’s mostly locals from the Haweliya area who come to see us. We’ve been here for a good number of years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s clean and it works for us. We don't do much advertising. People just know where we are. Usually, the doctor is in during the morning and then again in the late afternoon. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the windows shut to keep the dust out. Sometimes the cows walk right past the front door. That’s just how it is around here. We try to help out whoever comes in with whatever they are dealing with. It’s a simple setup. No fancy machines or bright lights. Just a desk, some medicine, and a place for people to talk about their health. We like being part of this community. It feels like home to us. If you walk past the temple, you can't miss the small sign for Raj Clinic. We just try to do right by the people here.
