Priya General Store

We’ve been here at Rani Mandi for quite some time now. Priya General Store is just a small spot in Purana Bajaja, right on Mandi Rani Road. Most people around Allahabad know this area can get pretty busy, especially with the market noise and the traffic. We open up early because that is when most folks are heading out or finishing their morning errands. It isn't anything fancy, just shelves filled with stuff people need every day. Sometimes the light flickers in the back corner or the floor needs a good sweep after a rainy day, but that’s just how it is. We keep things like soap, snacks, and basic kitchen supplies. My family helps out behind the counter. We know most of the neighbors by name since they’ve been coming here for years. If someone is looking for something specific and we don’t have it, we usually try to get it by next week. The shop is small, so boxes sometimes pile up near the door when the delivery truck comes by. Allahabad has changed a lot, but this corner of Rani Mandi feels mostly the same to us. We just sit here, talk to the regulars, and hand over change. It's a simple way to spend the day. Nothing much else to say about it, really. We are just here doing our bit and keeping the shelves stocked as best as we can manage for the local people.
