Paras General & Provision Store

Paras General & Provision Store is located right on Vivekananda Marg in Allahabad City. It's been our spot for quite a while now. Being in the 211003 area means there's always something going on outside the door. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just selling everyday items that families need for their kitchens and homes. Some days are slow and I spend time tidying up the jars, and other days it feels like everyone in Allahabad decided to come in at once. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and people rushing somewhere. We just focus on keeping the stock ready. It’s a basic provision store, really. I like that our neighbors know they can just walk over for a bag of flour or some tea. We don't have a big marketing team or fancy logos. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and us. Sometimes the power goes out and we sit by the door to catch the breeze. You learn a lot about people just standing behind a counter all day. Every customer has a different story to tell. We try to remember who likes what brand, but my memory isn't as good as it used to be. It’s just a simple life running a shop on this road. We stay busy enough to keep going and that’s plenty for us. There's no use complaining about the noise or the heat when you've got work to do for the day.
