Our place is at 82, Kazipur, which is over in the Naini part of Allahabad. It’s a bit away from the main city center, across the bridge. Naini is known for being more of an industrial and residential mix, and Kazipur is a fairly quiet neighborhood. We operate out of a modest building that doesn’t look like much from the street. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on various fashion pieces. We have a few rooms dedicated to cutting fabric and another area where we keep the finished stock. It’s a small team, mostly local folks who have been around for a bit. We don’t really do big advertising or have a shiny website that we update. We just focus on the clothes and getting things done. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common around here, and we just wait it out or use the manual machines if we have to. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we stay on task. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, kids playing or the occasional tractor going by. It’s a very local feel. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls. We just provide what we can from our spot in Kazipur and keep the business running one day at a time. It’s practical and it works for us and the people who know where to find us.
