Pahnawa Fashion is tucked away in the Pappu Complex over in Roshanbagh. It's near Khuldabad, so there's always a lot of people moving around the area. Finding us inside the complex at 153/198 is easy once you've been here once. I remember when we first moved in, the space felt huge, but now with all the stock, it feels a bit cramped. We sell all kinds of clothes, mostly whatever people are looking for these days. I keep the counter clear so I have space to spread out the outfits. The walls are painted a plain white, nothing special. I like being in Roshanbagh because you see all sorts of people. Some days are slow and I just sit and listen to the radio or talk to the other shop owners in the complex. When a customer comes in, I try to help them find their size without making a fuss. I don't like those shops where the clerks follow you around, so I just stay behind the counter unless someone asks for help. It’s a practical way to run a business. We get our shipments in big boxes that we have to unpack in the narrow aisle. It’s a bit of a mess for an hour, then it’s back to normal. That's just how Pahnawa Fashion works. It’s a local spot for local people, and we try to keep things as honest as possible.
