Our company is D.D. Pradhan & Co. (P) Ltd. and we are based over in the town of Chhaprauli. Specifically, we are in the Patti Jagmallan area of the Bhagpat district in Uttar Pradesh. Satendra Kumar, who is the son of Shri Satyapal Singh, is the one running the show here. We are a private limited company but we operate on a very local, personal level. You won't find us in a big city office tower; we are right here in the town where we can talk to our neighbors. We do various types of work depending on what is needed in the district. It’s the kind of place where people know who you are and who your family is, so you have to do a good job or everyone will hear about it. We don't have any marketing people or a fancy website to show off our projects. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here and we do the work that is expected of us by the local people. It’s a bit quiet in this part of Bhagpat, but that suits us just fine. We have our office set up and we deal with the paperwork and the contracts as they come in day after day. It is not always exciting or fast-paced, but it is steady and it keeps us involved in the local community here in Chhaprauli. We just try to be practical and helpful to whoever we are working with at the time without any fuss.
