Arail Main Road gets pretty busy around here. At Maakripa Physiotherapy Clinic, we see a lot of people coming in for their sessions every morning. It’s right on the main road in Arail, so it’s easy to find, though parking can sometimes be a bit of a squeeze. Inside, there are a few treatment tables and some machines for the exercises. We keep things pretty simple. There’s a water cooler in the corner that makes a glugging sound every time someone fills their cup. Most of the folks who come here are from around the neighborhood. You see them walking in, maybe limping a little, and then walking out after their time is done. We spend a lot of time just talking while we work on people’s backs or knees. The walls are a plain color, nothing fancy. Sometimes the traffic noise from the road outside gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a while. We have a small desk where we keep the appointments written down. It’s not a giant place, but it gets the job done for everyone. Most days, the sun hits the front window in the afternoon, making it a bit warm in the waiting area. We just open the door to let the breeze in. It feels like a normal part of the community here. Just a quiet spot where people come to get back on their feet.
