Lotus Men

Lotus Men is located right on Katra Road in the Katra area of Allahabad. We are very close to the Hanuman Mandir, so it’s easy for anyone in the neighborhood to find us. This area is usually buzzing with activity, especially with the temple nearby and the local markets. Our shop is strictly for men, providing a space where guys can come in for a haircut or a shave without any fuss. The setup is simple with traditional barber chairs and large mirrors. We don’t really do the whole modern lounge thing; it’s more about getting in the chair and getting the job done. I usually start the day by cleaning the blades and getting the shaving cream ready. There’s a lot of conversation that happens here, mostly about local news or whatever is going on in the streets of Allahabad. We have customers who have been coming to us for years, and now they bring their sons too. It’s a steady kind of life, working with your hands and talking to people from all walks of life. The fans hum overhead to keep the heat away, and there's usually a newspaper lying around for anyone waiting their turn. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop on Katra Road where we show up every morning. It’s honest work, and we’re glad to be a fixture in this part of town near the temple.
