Kamala Nehru Memorial Hospital

Kamala Nehru Memorial Hospital is right here at 1 Hashimpur Road. It’s been here a long time and mostly we just deal with the daily flow of folks coming through the doors. The building has its quirks, like how the light hits the lobby in the morning or how busy the front desk gets around 10 AM. We don't have fancy brochures or anything, just a lot of hallways and rooms where things get done. Some of the staff have been here for years and they know exactly where everything is, even if the signs are a bit old. Hashimpur Road stays pretty active, so there’s always noise outside from the rickshaws and cars. Inside, we try to keep things moving. It gets loud sometimes when the waiting area is full, and we just do what we can to help people find their way around. The floor tiles are a bit worn down from everyone walking on them, but they get cleaned every night. It’s not a quiet place, really. It’s a working hospital where doctors are always rushing and families are waiting on benches. We see all sorts of people every single day. Some are just here for a quick checkup and others stay longer. We keep the water coolers filled and try to make sure the fans are working when it gets hot.
