You can find Divyajyoti Micro Credit Foundation right on the ground floor of Tulsiyani Plaza. It’s Shop Number 6, located on MG Marg in the Civil Line area of Allahabad. This is a pretty busy part of town, which we like because there’s always something happening right outside our door. Being in Uttar Pradesh, specifically here in Allahabad, means we get to meet all kinds of people every single day. Our office isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need. We aren't into that corporate culture where everything has to be perfect. Our desks are usually covered in papers and we probably drink too much chai while we work. Civil Line is a great location because it’s central, so folks from all over the city can reach us without too much trouble. We’ve been in Shop 6 for a while now and we’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers in the plaza quite well. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or expensive chairs. We just want a place where people feel okay walking in to talk to us about their needs. It’s a straightforward setup. We show up, do our work, and try to be as helpful as we can to the people who come through the door. That is really all there is to it. We don't have any big speeches to give, just a small office on MG Marg where we do our best.
