Dilli Galiyara

We are located on the second floor of the Vinayak City Centre in Civil Lines. Dilli Galiyara is spread across shop numbers 20, 21, and 22, so we have a bit of room, but it still feels cozy when the weekend crowd arrives. Being near the PVR Cinemas means we see a lot of people coming in after a movie. Allahabad is a busy place and Civil Lines is right in the middle of all that noise. We wanted to bring a bit of that old Delhi street feel to the mall. It’s not a polished corporate place. We have some posters on the walls and the furniture is just basic stuff that works. The kitchen is right there and you can hear the pans clanking all day. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we opened up on S P Marg. Sometimes the mall air conditioning is a bit cold, but the food is always warm. We don't do fancy plated meals with decorations. It's just honest cooking served in bowls and plates. If you are shopping or catching a show, you can find us up the stairs or the lift. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just open up, cook the food, and hope people enjoy their lunch. It’s a simple business run by people who just like feeding the local crowd in 211001.
