Chandra Classe

Chandra Classe is located in the Rambagh area of Allahabad, right near Jeevan Jyoti. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of people moving around all day. We have a small space here where we teach local students. It isn't anything fancy, just some rooms with whiteboards and chairs that we move around depending on how many people show up. Being near the hospital means there is always noise and traffic, so you get used to the sound of horns and people talking outside the windows. We try to keep things simple. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. The building is a bit old, and the stairs are steep, but it works for what we need. Most of our students live in the surrounding streets of Rambagh, so they just walk over after their regular school is done. We usually have some water in a clay pot for whoever is thirsty, and we keep the windows open for a breeze when it’s hot. There’s no big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and find someone sitting at a table. We mostly just talk about the lessons and make sure everyone understands what they are reading. It’s a very local kind of place, nothing like those big institutes you see in the newspapers. We just focus on the books and the people sitting in front of us.
