Bezubaan Foundation

Bezubaan Foundation is located at 15/3 Vishnupuri Colony in Nawabganj. We are tucked away in a quiet street, which is nice because it gives us a bit of peace to get our work done. The name Bezubaan is really important to us because it reminds us to look out for those who can't speak up for themselves. This often means we are helping out with stray animals in the colony or looking after the older folks who don't have anyone else. It’s a small operation. We don't have any fancy equipment or a fleet of vehicles. Mostly, we just walk around the neighborhood and see who needs help. Vishnupuri is a decent place to live, and we have lived here for years before we even thought about starting a foundation. The building we use is just an old house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s got a lot of character, even if the pipes leak sometimes and the paint is peeling in the corners. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to be useful. People in Nawabganj know where we are, and they often drop off things they think we can use, like old blankets or food. It’s a very informal way to run things, but it works for us. We don't have big meetings or long reports. We just see a problem and try to fix it.
