Arogyan Clinic

You’ll find Arogyan Clinic right at Gandhi Chowk, which is probably one of the most crowded and noisy parts of town. It’s a small clinic that stays very busy because of its central location. There’s always the sound of rickshaws, vendors calling out, and general chaos right outside our door. Inside, we have a very basic setup. There is a small counter for medicine and a few wooden benches for patients to sit on while they wait. The walls are a bit scuffed from years of people leaning against them, and the ceiling fan makes a rhythmic clicking sound that we’ve all just learned to ignore. We see a lot of walk-ins, people who are just passing through the chowk and realize they need to see a doctor for a lingering pain or a sudden fever. It’s a fast-paced environment where we don't have much time for small talk. The doctor is usually busy in the small consultation room at the back. We keep a stock of the most common medicines so people can get what they need right away. During the monsoon, the floor stays a bit damp because of all the wet umbrellas and shoes coming in, but we do our best to mop it up. We’ve been a fixture of Gandhi Chowk for a long time now. It’s a humble place, but it serves a lot of people who wouldn't have anywhere else to go in such a busy area.
