Anand Hospital

You can find Anand Hospital at 11/17 Main Road Katra. Being on the main road means we hear a lot of horns and traffic noise all day long. It's just a part of working here. The entrance is right on the street, so people often just wander in when they aren't feeling well. We have a small team here, maybe five or six of us on a typical day. The floor is that old tile that's a bit worn down in the middle from all the walking. We spend a lot of our time doing routine checkups and filling out paperwork for the locals. Katra is a busy place, and we try to keep up with everyone who needs us. Sometimes the wait is a little long if a few emergencies come in at once, but people are generally patient. We keep a stack of old magazines in the corner, though nobody really looks at them much anymore since everyone has phones. The exam rooms are small and filled with the usual medical stuff like scales and thermometers. We don’t have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us. We keep the ledger by hand mostly, and we know who is coming based on the time of day. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. We just do the work and go home when the sun sets.
