Agrawal General Store

Agrawal General Store is located at 31, Zero Road in Allahabad. We are right in the Uncha Mandi area, not far from the Shiv Mandir. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people passing through, especially on festival days. Our shop is a basic general store where we sell all kinds of daily items. We have been here for years, and the building itself shows its age a bit. We do not mind that; it is part of the history of Zero Road. The interior is packed with boxes and containers, making the aisles a little narrow for customers. We stock everything from soap to tea and local snacks. It can get quite loud outside with the temple bells and the general noise of the market in 211003. We usually have a radio playing in the background while we work. It is a busy life, and there is always something to be counted or moved. We do not use any fancy computers to track our sales, just a thick paper ledger and a pen. It is the way we have always done it. Sometimes we run out of space and have to store things in the back room until there is a gap on the shelves. Most of our customers are regulars who live in Uncha Mandi. They know us and we know them. It is a simple business, based on being here every day and helping people get what they need.
