Shubham Clinic

Sultanpur is where we have our clinic, and it’s a pretty straightforward operation for everyone involved. We don’t have a long, complicated address because everyone around here knows where we are anyway. It’s a small place, just enough room for the essentials of a basic clinic. Every morning we open up and sweep the front before the first patients start arriving for the day. Shubham Clinic is where people go when they don't want to travel all the way to a bigger town for a simple problem. We handle the daily health issues that pop up in a place like this, from fevers to small cuts. Some days it’s very quiet and we just sit and wait for someone to come in, and other days it feels like the whole town has caught the same cough at once. We don’t have a big staff, so we end up doing a bit of everything, from filing papers to cleaning to assisting. It’s a very hands-on way to run a clinic. We’ve had the same furniture for years because it still works just fine. There’s no need for anything flashy or expensive. People appreciate that we are here and that we don't charge an arm and a leg for a basic visit. We know the local stories and who is doing what in town. It’s more about being part of the community than just being a business. We just keep the lights on and do our best for whoever walks in needing help throughout the day.
