Shri Ganesh Iron Store

Shri Ganesh Iron Store is right on the Kohdaur Ghuisarnath Road in Lalganj, Ajhara. It’s a dusty spot because of all the iron and metal we move around every day. We don't have a showroom with air conditioning or soft carpets. Instead, we have stacks of rods, sheets, and heavy pipes. The air usually smells like metal and earth. When someone comes in looking for something specific, we usually have to dig through the back to find it. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually stained by the end of the day. Lalganj is a place where people value things that last, so iron is always in demand. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the building shows its age a bit with some rust on the roof, but it keeps the rain off the stock. We don't use a lot of technology here. We mostly rely on our memory and a simple calculator. The road outside can get quite noisy with tractors and motorcycles heading towards Ajhara, but we’re used to it by now. We don't try to impress anyone with big talk. We just weigh the metal, settle the price, and help load it onto the customer's vehicle. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and it keeps us connected to the builders and farmers around this part of the country. We just try to keep the supply steady for those who rely on us.
