Shri Balaji Grain Store

Our store is located right on Kunwarpur Road in Binki. It’s a simple spot, really, just a place where we handle the grain and keep everything organized as best we can. Most mornings, the first thing I do is sweep the front and get the scales ready for whatever comes in that day. Binki is the kind of place where everyone knows where everything is, so being on Kunwarpur Road makes us easy to find. The shelves and the floor are usually covered with bags of different grains, and there is that specific smell of dry earth and seeds that never really goes away. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the doors that stay open during the day. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello while we are weighing things out. It can get a bit cramped inside when a big shipment arrives, and we have to stack the bags high to make room for everyone to move around. It's honest work, even if it’s heavy and a bit tiring by the time the evening rolls around. We’ve seen the road change over the years, more traffic and more noise, but the store stays pretty much the same. We just focus on getting the counts right and making sure the grain is stored properly so it stays good. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood here in Binki, and we like it that way. No fuss, just grain and the people who need it.
