Shree Balaji Tent & Light Decoration

Our place is right by the Bus Stand Main Road, Ghatol. It’s a busy spot because of all the people coming and going from the buses. We handle all the tent and light stuff for local events. It’s hard work, mostly lifting heavy metal poles and huge rolls of fabric. My hands are always a bit calloused from the ropes. We keep all the gear in a big warehouse area that stays pretty messy during the wedding season. There are wires everywhere and bulbs that need testing. You can’t really keep a place like this perfectly clean. Sometimes we are out late at night setting up for a party, and other times we are tearing everything down in the rain. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. I’ve lived in Ghatol my whole life, so I know where every big field and community hall is located. When someone needs lights, they just come over to the shop and we figure it out on a piece of scrap paper. There isn’t a fancy office here. Just a few chairs and a lot of equipment piled up. The fans in the ceiling hum loudly when it gets hot. We just try to get the job done so the event can happen. It’s a lot of physical labor and making sure the generators have enough fuel. I usually end the day covered in dust and quite tired. That is how things are around here.
